The tents are made from an extremely strong and four way stretch fabric specifically developed for commercial applications. Stretch Tents are designed to meet specific local and international fire, structural and safety standards. Our Stretch Tent fabric is not only incredibly strong but contains built-in fire retardant, UV stabilisers and anti-UV protected treatment.

A Stretch Tent is an innovative alternative to the traditional centre pole marquee. Fundamentally this is a single piece elastic canopy which is stretched tightly over a free-standing pole framework to create a unique dynamic shape. The next generation 2020 model is completely waterproof, fire retardant, and very attractive.
Can you rent or hire out Stretch Tents?
Yes, Gala Stretch Tent structures are commercial quality and provide a great space for hosting parties, extra dining area for restaurants, live music and used for weddings a lot.
What are Stretch Tent canopies made of?
The Stretch Tent fabric material is made from dynamic 350g elastic fabric which benefits from being is UV-protected and flame retardant certified. Treated with mould inhibitors, and Teflon coated to repel dirt.
Are Stretch Tents just suitable for the summer months?
Stretch Tents are best used throughout spring and summer as the open sides and frontage make them exposed to the elements. However, Stretch Tents can be used all year round by pulling down the sides of the tent to a low ground position to create a more enclosed space. Then just add carefully positioned marquee heaters which will still provide you with a valuable space for entertaining.
Are Stretch Tents waterproof?
Good question ….. Yes, but only if the latest generation fabric technology is used, historically in the early stages of production Stretch Tents leaked and badly. Some of the early models are still around today. Gala Stretch Tents are waterproof so buy from a trusted supplier it will save you from any disappointment later.
What is the best surface to erect a Stretch Tent?
Stretch Tents can be installed on any surface, a brief site survey maybe required to locate the best way to set up. For grass you tension the tent using ground anchors, for hard standing you can weight the tent down using concrete blocks.
Do Stretch Tents have side panels?
The canopy is manufactured in a one-piece section. However, Stretch Tents can be erected with the sides up or down. Having the sides down would mean that you minimize your internal space.
What are the printing and branding options?

Can you connect two or more Stretch Tents?
Not really designed to connect, however you can configure Stretch Tents with two or more canopies together to create a wonderful unique space. Gutter kits can be used where necessary.

How long do Stretch Tents take to erect?
This all depends on the size and how many people you have on the job, so let's say you have 2/3 helpers on a 6m x 12m Stretch Tent, this should not take more than a few hours to set up and rig.

Do I need planning permission to erect a Stretch Tent?
Stretch Tents are classed as a temporary structure and under UK law it is unlikely that you would require planning permission, however we would recommend you contact your local planning authority as council policies can differ from town to town.
What is the cost of replacement parts?
In the unlikely event that you damage or break a pole, then depending on the size of your Stretch Tent you would be looking at approximately £50 to £100 each to replace them. We can however quote you on a full replacement canopy separately if required.
