I am delighted with my new purchase, a 4.5m x 3m Gala Shade Pro 40 Gazebo. Some years ago I borrowed a Gala marquee for a garden party we were having, and I was impressed then with the quality of the marquee and indeed, the fact that it was relatively inexpensive. The gazebo I’ve just purchased is going to provide my family with a comfortable, secure and pleasurable outdoor dining area and general use for many years to come.A hint I gleaned from the excellent Gala Customer Services, is to give the gazebo frame a good shake before trying to erect it for the first time! They can be quite stiff when new; a good shake loosens the joints a little and makes it so much easier to expand. I am in my late 60s, but my wife and I managed to erect the gazebo pretty easily (4 people would make it a piece of cake), and I took it down and packed it away on my own. The 4.5m x 3m is fairly heavy, but manageable, and I found the use of a sack barrow pretty helpful. Anything larger would certainly need two or more people.All in all, I would thoroughly recommend Gala gazebos and marquees. Of course, one can buy much cheaper gazebos, but a good puff of wind and they’re often blown away and destroyed - not to mention the irritation and possible danger to neighbours, as they fly over, legs akimbo, rolling from garden to garden like some alien creature! The first night after I erected my Gala gazebo, there was quite a strong breeze, but it was untouched, held down to a paving area with the leg weights. Had it been on grass with long pegs and guy ropes, it would have been even more secure.A great product which certainly enhances our outdoor entertaining and leisure. First rate customer care, too!

My wife and I have struggled with gazebo type contraptions - purchasing relatively low cost items from suppliers such as the one that has just stopped printing catalogues..no names mentioned..So, after our last purchase turned itself inside out during admittedly blustery conditions, we decide to look for something more robust. Googling 'heavy duty gazebo' we were presented with various options that we proceeded to mull over for several days. I must have inadvertently clicked somewhere on the Gala Tents web-page because, out of the blue, I received a phone call from a very pleasant member of the Gala Tents team with whom I had a very pleasant conversation - he even showed me a picture of a gazebo that he had recently installed in his own family garden. We were persuaded that we did not need the most heavy duty product,opting for the Pro MX model with sidewalls and groundbars. The gazebo arrived within a few days and we went to work putting it up on our patio. This took maybe 30 minutes with a few false starts but the helpful and simple manual that came with the gazebo soon put us straight. So, we have now enjoyed several weeks of the gazebo, mostly so far as a sunshade - although it has weathered a few thunder and lightning storms. It comes with a very handy wheeled storage bag that is strong and well made. The service we received was first class; we spoke to several employees and each provided the information and advice we needed. The product is very well made, lightyears better than cheaper versions available elsewhere. I thoroughly recommend the product ad the company to anybody looking for a quality product that looks like it will last a good few years - maybe even providing the venue for a socially distanced family Christmas meal if the current situation continues...Many thanks to Gala and its staff.

Excellent set of lights which are perfect for lighting up my large marquee. It wasn’t easy to find the ideal product but the lights I bought from Gala Tents were just what I needed. They are easy to install and remove and provide a good clean light. Delivery was within 24 hours as promised.

What A pleasure it was to deal with Gala Tents. My order was handled very efficiently by Jake Simpson and with a bit of initial to-ing and fro-ing due to space restrictions we found the perfect fit for our requirements. The order was placed and delivered by a local Scottish carrier, who also went above and beyond their duties.Each item of kit was packed in separate boxes, every item enclosed was ticked off. A written instruction sheet may have been a bit more user friendly but the video was very helpful and in the long run the overview was, the video saved time and effort. We chose the 6 x 6 metre PVC marque, with the additional ground base and 40 kg weights for extra security. It took 6 adults 4.5 hours to erect it. The finished marquee is outstanding......It will be used as an additional outdoor learning space for our village Playgroup and Toddlers during the Covid 19 crisis. So on behalf of the Dullatur Kids, Thank you Gala Tents. We wish you and your brilliant staff all the very best for the future.
