In May 2021, five men came together to get behind the wheel of a Citroen C1, to put the pedal to the metal and pit their wits against fifty-seven other cars for 24 hours at the home of British motorsport, Silverstone. They would be competing in the Silverlake C1 Challenge for the second time after a horrific crash ended their first effort in 2019. Joining Gala Performance company directors Mark Thompson and Andrew Scott were Clio Cup and Mini Challenge superstar Max Coates, European Le Mans Series champion Christian England, and Welsh Saloon Champion, Rhys Lloyd. Together, they were Gala Performance Racing with Amigo Motorsport.

Whilst they took part in the race, a small GTTV film crew was given unfettered access to capture everything that happened in the pit garage for the full twenty-four hours. This film is the story of those twenty-four hours. This is THE RAC1NG LINE: A Gala Performance Story.
