Local firm has new market covered
Gala Tent is celebrating the successful reopening of Rotherham’s Tuesday market after it supplied the new gazebos which provide stylish shelter for the stall holders.
Over 3000 people visited the new look market which has expended by almost 50%, going from 62 stalls to 95. The market's expansion is part of Rotherham Council's bigger plan for redevelopment of the town, with the new look gazebo stalls expected to attract increased footfall to the town.
When selecting the new stalls the management team for Rotherham market opted for aluminium gazebos in a striking combination of purple and yellow. Local company, Gala Tent was the natural choice as the UK’s leading gazebo and marquee manufacturer. The Council aims to fill all 95 stalls within 3 months of the market opening and the Tuesday market's relaunch has proven to be a massive success.
Rotherham has a strong heritage as a market town and visitors to the new market were impressed with the variety on offer, with most people commenting on the town being the busy and bustling. The expansion of the market isn't just great for shoppers it has also proved to be a boost for traders as the affordable stall pricing structure of the extended market has attracted new vibrant traders to the town.

The majority of visitors to the new market were impressed with the variety on offer, with most people commenting on the town being the busiest it has been in years. Rotherham has a strong reputation as a market town and the market redevelopment has cemented Rotherham's name as on of South Yorkshire's leading markets.
