Gala Tent brings sizzle to the dining room with Real Steakstones

The steak stones are perfect for cooking steak at the table.
Gala Tent, a leading gazebo and marquee manufacturer, is adding more sizzle this summer, after becoming one of the UK’s exclusive retailers of Real Steakstones, an innovative method of hot stone home cooking.

The fun, interactive concept has already been a hit in restaurants and hotels, as it allows people to control exactly how they want their meat cooked, and it is now available for use for dining at home!

Made from thermal shock resistant volcanic granite rock, the stones can be easily heated in the oven, and promise to stay hot for a significant amount of time to allow you to cook even the thickest cuts of meat.

As the stones can also be heated on a BBQ, and served at the table, they are ideal for outdoor events and parties, where guests cannot normally choose how they like their meat cooked.

Jason Mace, Managing Director of Gala Tent, said: “We are delighted to become one of the UK’s exclusive retailers of Real Steakstones, and to be able to offer these to the home market. It is a really exciting concept for cooking food, and can be used on a variety of occasions, from simple dinners to outdoor parties and BBQs. The Real Steakstones are also ideal as gifts for birthdays and Christmas!”

Gala Tent’s Real Steakstones are a healthy dining option, due to the fact that they do not require oil or other cooking fats. The stones are also quick and simple to clean.

Foods that can be cooked directly on the stones include steak, seafood, chicken and sliced vegetables. Alternatively, the stones can be chilled or frozen and used to serve desserts, cakes, ice-cream and cheese.

Gala Tent’s offers a complete range of Real Steakstones from small to large sets, all of which come with hot stones, ceramic dishes and a stainless steel underliner.

Gala Tent Limited is one the UK’s largest importer and exporter of tents, marquees and pop up awnings which it supplies to households, as well as the catering, hospitality and restaurant trade.
