MOBILE SANITARY SHELTER FOR OUTDOOR TESTING STATIONS
With the emergence of the Covid-19 Coronavirus in 2020, the world has changed quickly and dramatically.
Social Distancing has become the norm, and the UK continues to battle an invisible enemy with much
emphasis on the unknown.
Whilst so much is unknown, medical trusts and NHS branches are pressing hard to offer testing facilities all
over the country, from large scale operations such as the Nightingale Hospitals that have popped up over
the course of a few weeks, through town hospitals and to remote areas with stations popping up to ensure
as much testing is happening as possible, and Gala Tent has been central to the operational success of
many of these Testing Stations, providing hundreds of Gala Shade pop-up gazebos and large marquees.
Here are the main features and benefits to using our structures for pop-up Testing Stations.
Testing Station in a Marquee
Marquees are typically much larger than gazebos in the
amount of space they can cover, so they would make an ideal
large scale, multiple visitor Testing Station. Each ‘bay’ in a
Gala Tent marquee is 2m in width, so they provide a
readymade marker for keeping distance from the next tester
and their equipment, easily ensuring safe testing. Marquee
sidewalls can be removed easily, to create multiple safe
entry points into the tent.
Testing Station in a Gazebo
Gazebos are instantly deployed and rapidly dismantled, so
they are perfect and the very definition of a Pop-Up Test
Station. They are typically much smaller than most of the Gala
Tent marquees, so have often been used for testing one or
two patients at a time, and keeping the potential for passing
any infection to a bare minimum. Consider a printed gazebo,
adding strict information to the covers of the tent to ensure
nobody ventures inside uninvited during a testing session.
We can often supply printed gazebos in just a matter of days.
All of our Pop-Ups or Marquees are available with free next working day delivery, so if you have an urgent requirement to up your area’s testing capabilities then give the team a call on 01709 242454, or why not start a Live Chat session. Alternatively, drop them an email here and somebody will be back to you as quickly as possible.
