The story of Gala Tent's history goes back to 1999, where our MD and co-founder Jason Mace was struggling to source a marquee to hire for his parents' pub's Millennium celebrations, and ultimately ended up purchasing an event tent to fulfil his requirements. From here, he and his family purchased some stock and began to sell the tents to others who had found themselves in a similar situation. Those first marquees supplied over twenty years ago became the seeds from which Gala Tent grew to become the UK's biggest and best-selling marquee supplier, and we now shift over 15,000 event tents each year, as well as countless accessories and spare parts.
